PowerTug - Vessel & Trolley Mover

The PowerTug is a battery powered electric tug that can safely move vessels, tanks & A-framed trolleys that have all-swivel castor wheels.

The PowerTug load mover has a telescopic legs with a fixed castor (or castors) at the end. When coupled to the vessel, this configuration overcomes the ‘wandering’ or ‘crabbing’ effect of swivel castor wheels and the vessel can be safely moved and positioned with great precision, regardless of the floor surface.

  • Mono-drive wheel for stable performance on uneven surfaces
  • Fingertip controls for operator convenience & ease of use
  • Electrically powered up/down Lineal Actuator lifts one end of the load & in doing so, helps put downward pressure onto the drive wheel thereby creating additional traction
  • Can be manufactured to a clean room standard &/or to Zone 1 ATEX standards for volatile liquids & gasses
